What changes in the shed

Most Australian packing sheds run on paper bin tickets, a label printer and a spreadsheet that one person understands. Producepak puts each step on a tablet: bins are scanned in, packing runs record what went in and what came out, cartons are labelled for the retailer, and pallets are scanned onto the truck. Pack-outs, yields and grower returns are calculated from those scans.

  • Bin tickets replaced by scans
  • Pack-outs by grower and grade, automatically
  • Retailer carton and SSCC pallet labels
  • Loading photos for every truck
  • Grower returns and statements
  • MYOB and Xero integration

Questions

Will it work with our existing label printers?

Usually yes – Producepak prints to common thermal label printers, and to any printer through PrintNode cloud printing from Android tablets.

Do our packers need training?

Training is included. Shed screens are scan-and-tap, built for staff who are on the line, not at a desk.

How long does setup take?

Typically 1–2 weeks, depending on label formats, EDI and accounting integration.
