Ship to US retail distribution centers without chargebacks
Supermarket distribution centers measure suppliers on fill rate, on-time arrival, label quality and ASN accuracy. Producepak takes the order by EDI, prints the right labels, checks every pallet against the order at loading and sends the ASN and invoice automatically.

Where chargebacks come from
- Missing or unreadable GS1-128 / PTI labels
- ASN that does not match the truck
- Short or substituted cases not confirmed
- Late arrival against the appointment
- Temperature or quality rejections without photos
Producepak prevents the first four by scanning every case and pallet at loading and records photos and temperatures for the fifth.
Traceability expectations
Large retailers moved early on traceability. In 2018 Walmart told leafy greens suppliers to have one-step-back traceability on its network by 31 January 2019 and end-to-end traceability by 30 September 2019. With FSMA 204 enforcement set for 20 July 2028, more buyers now ask for lot-level data on the ASN and case label.
Questions
Which EDI networks are supported?
Producepak exchanges EDI through common VANs and web EDI providers; the retailer’s mapping is set up during implementation.
Can we see deductions by customer?
Yes. Credits and deductions are matched to shipments and reported by customer, product and reason.
