The Seed Tracking and Tracing System enables Production Managers to track a product from Breeders’ Seed to Certified Seed and to trace backwards from Certified Seed to Breeders’ Seed, particularly aimed at identity preservation and quality assurance. This facilitates solving problems faced by product non-conformance in customer experience or at some point in process. Tracking and tracing are an important aspect of Quality Assurance, especially for variety identity in filed inspections. Genetic analysis will assist in genetic purity assurance. The key attributes of this system are labelling and reporting of source and output seed productions.
Seed Inventory Management System (SIMS Version 1.0.2), is most suitable for a medium or large scale sized seed business company that requires constant monitoring of seed stock from the delivery stage through to the sales stage. Material and carriage costs are automatically updated in the system along with costs for treatment and bags. Multi Location & Transfers
Generation allows you to track where your seed inventory is located, whether stored at single or multiple processing plants and warehouses. You can configure any storage facilities and can include specific bins, bays, or racking shelves, to manage location of all seed inventory. This ensures you can identify exactly what product is available and where, as well as easing the transfer of product between locations.
Position Enquiry & Availability
Generation collates all the data from different operations to provide a powerful Position and Availability enquiry for any inventoried product. Generation includes details of when products and lots are staged or being consumed or manufactured giving you the true On Hand and Availability. Combined with sales, usage and forecasted demand and any purchases you can quickly see an accurate, real time picture of your overall position.
Inventory Counts & Adjustments
Generation provides an effective way to record and maintain inventory accurately and efficiently. Inventory can be easily adjusted when seed bags are damaged or disposed and effectively manages inventory counts with stock count sheets and reconciliation.
Seed and Stock Inventory Software
Software for Plant Breeding and Variety Testing from
Seed and often stock (clones, cuttings) can be managed and tracked within a breeding or variety testing program.
Our software maintains multiple seed storage locations as well as multiple seed lots or stock per genotype and is fully customizable for any crop’s traits. Seed lots can be based on weight or count, even both for the same genotype. Seed lots can be imported or created from trials and nurseries and allocated for the next season or years planting. Allocation can involve plot size, seeding density, seed weight, germination percentage and any other factor to calculate the amount of seed required for each genotype for each plot across an entire trial and then generate a report listing the number of seed packets and total amount of seed required for each genotype. Genotypic traits can be directly linked to seed lot or stock traits for optimal control and seed allocation decisions. Reports, labels and barcodes support the many practical seed lot management tasks. As well as complete transaction control, the seamless integration with our variety testing and plant breeding system expedites hybrid crops development and producing hybrid seed.

List View
Germplasm with associated inventory will display one or more LOTS in list view. Lots represent different packs of identically sourced seeds. For example, harvesting individual duplicate crosses will result in a single GID being associated with multiple lots. STOCK IDs are also displayed from list view. Most often there will be a one-to-one relationship between StockIDs and Lot. However, a single Lot may contain multiple StockIDs, such as when germplasm with inventory is imported multiple times matching to a single GID.
Notice: The AVAILABLE amount is reported as Mixed, because the lots were measured in more than one unit. If both lots were measured in grams, the numerical total is reported.
From List Details, select individual lot entries to reveal lot details.
Entry # 1, CML502 contains 2 lots of seed. One lot is measured in units of grams and the other seed packets. For the ease of seed management, breeding programs may want to impose standardized inventory units.
Inventory View
From List Details Action menu, select Inventory View to reveal lot details for the entire list.
